When you're happy with the finished site, you pay the build fee and I put it live at your web address. After that I keep it running.

Hi, I'm Billy
I live in Burgess Hill and build websites for the businesses I walk past every day.
Lots of great local businesses still rely on a Facebook page, or a website that's hard to use on a phone. I want to change that with sites that are quick, clear and easy to find, at a price that makes sense for a small business.
You won't be passed to an account manager. You'll have my email, and you'll deal with me throughout.

Things people usually ask
When do I pay?
Not until your site is finished and you're happy with it. There's no deposit. Until then your site sits on a private preview link. Once you've paid the build fee, I put it live at your web address.
What does it cost after the first year?
£20 a month. That covers hosting, the use of your web address and up to two small changes a month, like new opening hours or prices.
Who owns the domain (web address)?
If I register it, it stays registered to me and your business gets the use of it: included for the first year, then covered by the £20 monthly plan. That's a standard .co.uk or .com; premium domains cost extra. If you'd rather own it outright, you can buy the domain yourself and keep full control and ownership. I'll just need access to point it at your site.
Who owns the website?
Your content (text, photos, logo) is always yours. I own the code and design, and your business has a licence to use the site while you're on the monthly plan. The site and its code can't be copied or reused elsewhere. If you'd like to keep your site for good, you can buy a permanent licence to its code at any time, for the same price as your build fee.
What happens if I leave?
Your web address comes with you: once anything you owe has been paid, I'll transfer the domain into your name. The website itself stays with me unless you've bought a permanent licence to its code.
Can I update the site myself?
With the Standard and Advanced packages you can edit your own text and photos. With Starter, send me what you'd like changed and it's covered by the monthly plan.
I already have a domain. Can I keep it?
Of course. It stays yours. I'll check where it's registered and when it's due for renewal before changing anything.
What isn't covered by the monthly plan?
Bigger jobs, like new pages, new features such as booking or a shop, or a full redesign, and small changes you need done urgently. I'll always quote for those before starting.
